Social

Community Engagement

SITE Centers is committed to making positive differences in the communities where we live and work. Our community involvement strategy is driven in large part by our employees’ interest and often takes place at the grassroots and local levels, where we feel we can make the biggest difference.

Our social programs are facilitated through many different outreach programs that forge partnerships with charitable organizations to reach those in need. At the core of this is our YOUnity program. This internal, employee-led program allows each of our employees to identify volunteer opportunities through a database of available organizations and allows for donation matching by the company. Each of our employees is also given two full days of paid volunteer time to achieve our objective of helping our communities through action.

As our Company continues to evolve, it is critical that we to strive to foster a workplace where each and every employee feels supported, included and empowered to fully engage. This is the focus of our employee-led group called SITE Helpers, which helps bring us together for a common purpose in unity, clarity and peace. The SITE Helpers acronym was derived from its key components: Humility, Empathy, Listening, Process, Education, Reconciliation, Support. The program focuses on education, talent development, and community outreach, and is an ever-evolving approach authentic to our SITE Centers team.
